The Nassau Zone of NYS AHPERD Awards Committee recognizes that there are many “unsung heroes” in our profession who make exemplary contributions to our students, schools, and communities. We need your assistance in identifying and honoring deserving members of our profession for the following awards:

2016 AWARDS RECEPTION
On, June 13, 2016, the Nassau Zone of NYS AHPERD held its Professional Recognition Awards Reception at the Alumni House at Adelphi University. Award recipients and their family and friends, along with members of the Nassau Zone Executive Board, packed the room as we honored our Professionals of the Year. A special highlight of the evening was that all of the awards’ recipients chose another professional very close to them who spoke on their behalf.
